The theme is portrait for
this unit. At the end of the unit, you will create a 2D portrait drawing
by using mixed media and collage techniques.
This blog introduces
Visual Arts learning materials for you by introducing four activities,
which are Colour, Collage, Portrait drawing and Responding. Through
learning these activities, you will develop your artistic knowledge
in visual languages and art analysis skills through the elements of art that focus
on colour, collage technique, practising portrait drawing and artist Rob Draper’s
artwork.
Read each of the page reading materials and complete four activities before coming back to a face-to-face class. This knowledge is needed to create your portrait drawing and to do your analysis task. Next week, we will experiment with various materials and create a mind map to explore ideas for creating your portrait artwork.
